430 nm Blue LED – targets acne bacteria; 420 nm IPL – reduces inflammation; 2940 nm Er:YAG – resurfacing; 1064 nm Q-Switched Nd:YAG – deeper acne control.

Vascular Lesions

560–590 nm IPL – rosacea and redness; 1064 nm Nd:YAG – deeper vessels; Pulsed Dye Laser – superficial vessels; RF – adjunct coagulation.

Pigmentation

515–590 nm IPL – sun damage; 532 nm QS Nd:YAG – epidermal pigment; 755/694 nm – deeper pigment; 1064 nm Nd:YAG – safer for darker skin.

Tattoo Removal

532 nm – reds; 694/755 nm – blues/greens; 1064 nm – blacks. Uses Q-switched or picosecond lasers.

Hair Removal

755 nm Alexandrite – lighter skin; 810 nm Diode – versatile; 1064 nm Nd:YAG – darker skin.

Resurfacing & Texture

1320–1927 nm non-ablative – collagen; 2940 nm Er:YAG – superficial; 10,600 nm CO2 – deep resurfacing.

Radiofrequency and Ultrasound for collagen stimulation and tightening.

Benign Lesions

RF – skin tags, milia; 1064 nm Nd:YAG – cherry angiomas. Moles should not be treated with lasers.
